Bricks and Sticks

This past Sunday we finally moved into our new location. It is the result of about 10 weeks of work, expense and fellowship around a paint brush. Much thanks to everyone who helped us transform an out of date used clothing store into a modern high tech santuary with sound and video. So What???

The new location opens up a whole new world of opportunities for the Summit. Not only do we have more space to grow we also have it 24/7. In the past nine months as a church our meeting locations have only been for the Sunday morning hour. Now we can do anything God leads us to do anytime we choose to do it. So What???

This means that all the trouble of renovating the building, the thousands of dollars it cost to do it, and the countless hours of labor above and beyond already busy lives can now produce fruit. A child can hear the Gospel in a childrens outing, a college student can find direction in a Friday night gathering, a single mom can....the list goes on and on. So What???

So What??? If all we have done is created opportunities, then our new location is just "sticks and bricks". If we use these opportunities and see changed lives take place...It becomes Holy Ground. That's what!!!
